JPMorgan Corporate Challenge
For the third year running the STA will be entering a team for the JPMorgan Corporate Challenge (JPMCC).
The event will be held on Thursday 6 July in Battersea Park at 18:45h. The 5.6km route is suitable for individuals of all abilities, whether you decide to walk, jog or run. The STA’s official charity beneficiary is Cancer Research UK.
We will provide a branded STA race T-shirt and, after the race, we will offer the opportunity to meet up with your fellow STA runners. The STA team will meet at the Prince Albert pub before the event to collect the STA running T-shirts and there will be a social/drinks afterwards. More details will be provided to those who have signed up in June.

- The STA will pay the £29 registration fee for the first 20 who sign-up. So hurry – there may be a free space left!

STA Monthly Meeting – October 2023
The main reason for ineffective strategy construction which leads to non-reproducible results in real time and hence inconsistent performance is due to not knowing the 3 critical strategy stats. To overcome this challenge and construct sustainable, scalable and reproducible strategies in a quantitative manner, the Smart Money Framework was developed by the quants in the 1960s. With this framework we will have the 3 critical stats to help us construct optimal entries, stop loss and exits. When this is further combined with volume, our probability of capturing the bigger runners increases. All of the above will be explained further in detail by the presenter.
