Eugene Sorenson
Eugene Sorenson joined Bloomberg in 2006 as a business manager responsible for the development of the charting and technical analysis platform of the BLOOMBERG PROFESSIONAL® service.
He has spent the last ten years overseeing the design and development of financial software products. At Cantor Fitzgerald he brought to market Cantor G3, a 3-D visualization of the Treasury market as well as historical data of the limit order book.
He was a product manager at CQG from 1998-2004. During that time, he oversaw the development and release of their advanced options, fixed income and back-testing products.
Prior to this, Eugene was an independent Commodity Trading Advisor employing technical trading strategies. His strategy was centered on analyzing changes in market distributions over time and thereby understanding the probability of a forthcoming trend or consolidation.
