Mathew and Market Analyst are now on the cutting edge, providing tools and techniques never seen before in the financial industry. New innovations in 3D models and multi-touch interaction will ensure that Market Analyst will be a driving force in shaping Technical Analysis in the future.
Throughout the whole of Mathew’s career, he has spent a considerable amount of time looking at traditional Technical Analysis techniques in a different way. In this presentation he will cover the mechanics behind how he has taken the tried and true Market Profile and turned it into a momentum based indicator. The rationale behind the development of this technique could be applied to many other techniques in the future.
Mathew Verdouw is the Founder and Global CEO of Market Analyst International, a group of companies dedicated to developing Technical Analysis software for traders of financial markets. The main reason for ineffective strategy construction which leads to non-reproducible results in real time and hence inconsistent performance is due to not knowing the 3 critical strategy stats. To overcome this challenge and construct sustainable, scalable and reproducible strategies in a quantitative manner, the Smart Money Framework was developed by the quants in the 1960s. With this framework we will have the 3 critical stats to help us construct optimal entries, stop loss and exits. When this is further combined with volume, our probability of capturing the bigger runners increases. All of the above will be explained further in detail by the presenter.
