Adam Sorab BSc FSTA

Adam Sorab has been working in financial markets since 1984. He is a Fellow of the STA, was Chairman of the STA from 1998 to 2008 and President of IFTA from 2010 to 2013. He spent 13 years as head of technical research at CQS, producing technical analysis-based investment research and strategy for CQS traders, as well as representing the portfolio management team at investor meetings.

Adam is now Partner and Head of Investor Relations & Sales at Lodbrok Capital LLP and is also an independent member of the BUPA pension fund investment committee.

In his talk Adam will look back at the history of development of technical analysis in the UK. He will also highlight the extent to which technology has changed the industry and reflect on his experience of the use of TA in the hedge fund industry.
